How Many Worlds?

June 9, 2012

Lately I’ve been thinking about the world we live in, and if it’s really real. You see, if we take a peak into Quantum Physics, you’d see that the very laws of nature, that seem to hold the world together, that have been thoroughly explored by Science for hundreds of years, is utter bunkum in the very very tiny place inside atoms.

There, the particles zip about with utter contempt for the natural laws we commonly take for granted. Particles don’t orbit the nucleus. Instead they seem to pop in and out of existence. Gravity seems to have taken a bit of a sabbatical too, and so it goes on.

So as I’ve said the world, indeed the whole universe may be a bit more surprising than meets the eye. In my book  Feeling-good – Foundations for a Fabulous Life/  Our Emotions might carve out the world we inhabit, is what I’ve had on my mind and said so to a friend over donuts and coffee.

A

Our emotions  might do more than shake us up and confound us. I’m thinking that they play  large part in creating the world we live in. Take Fear for instance. When in fear, lots of fearful things can start to take place, giving you ample proof that you were right to be fearful and careful, and that the world is held together by some scary natural laws.

Change the way you feel to that of freedom and celebration, and again your world will accommodate you with all sorts of good stuff. Or just simply consider the world  of the miserable and pessimistic. IS it not a vastly different world to the frivolous madcap, filled with optimism?

My thinking here is that because we have such a fluctuating variety of emotions, we are also creating a constantly changing world and  this is happening so seamlessly, we don’t notice it.

It’s like If you are constantly with a growing child, you don’t see them getting taller.  But your friends, who only see the chills on occasion will see the difference.

It’s like that with the endless, little emotional charged changes we are doing to our world, we just don’t see how we are changing it. And because of this, our world seems to us, like this one constant, stable world, but with endless confusions about how it works.

IF you live in a world of possibilities, it’s laws will ensure you access. But if you live in a world of darkness, and gripping limitation, the world of possibility seems like a considerably bad joke.

Let me ask you to explore what the world is. Get happy by any means possible, and note how the world works. Then change to misery, and again note the now changed world and how it works.

In my philosophy, which may be the truth, your emotions create the very physical world you inhabit. The laws by which rule this world, change too, according to those same and very powerful creative things, ‘Emotions’!  Perhaps we can learn to drive our world, through a better understanding and determination to have the emotions we want.

Warm wishes,

Paul
